- 4 carrots Peeled and diced
- 4 celery stalks diced
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 8 cúp chicken stock
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 bay leaf
- ½ cup long-grain rice
- ¼ cup parsley leaves
- Salt and pepper
