As an alternative for Oktoberfest, you can use Italian, honey garlic, apple sage, and bratwurst.

Sausages and Sweet Potatoes
Peel 2 medium sweet potatoes (each about 8 oz/250 g). Cut into 3/4-inch (2 cm) pieces. Toss with 2 tsp (10 mL) olive or vegetable oil and some salt and pepper. Sausages with Baked Beans
Arrange sausages in an 8-inch (2 L) square baking dish. Bake for 25 to 28 minutes, or until starting to brown and almost cooked. Stir in a 14-oz (398 mL) can of baked beans, 1/4 cup (50 mL) ketchup, chili sauce or tomato sauce, and 1/2 tsp (2 mL) garlic or onion powder. Continue to bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until beans are bubbling and hot.
