I’ve used a recipe by Linda Stephens as a reference for this. Her nephew makes these from roast beef leftovers. Instead of the garlic spread, you can simply combine mayonnaise with garlic powder to taste. Use leftover gravy or sauce to dip in. You will need a toaster oven to prepare this.
Variation
Replace garlic mayonnaise with another flavored mayonnaise (or spread), such as Sriracha mayonnaise or chipotle mayonnaise.

- 3 tbsp garlic mayonnaise
- 8 slices deli or leftover roast beef
- 8 slices provolone cheese
- ¼ Spanish or sweet onion thinly sliced
- ¼ cup melted butter
- 2 tsp sesame or poppy seeds (optional)

- Bake in preheated 350 °F (180 °С) toaster oven for 10 to 12 minutes, or until cheese oozes out slightly and tops are golden.
