I’ve used a recipe by Linda Stephens as a reference for this. Her nephew makes these from roast beef leftovers. Instead of the garlic spread, you can simply combine mayonnaise with garlic powder to taste. Use leftover gravy or sauce to dip in. You will need a toaster oven to prepare this.
Replace garlic mayonnaise with another flavored mayonnaise (or spread), such as Sriracha mayonnaise or chipotle mayonnaise.
Roast Beef and Cheese Sliders from a Toaster Oven
- Arrange bottom halves of dinner rolls on foil- or parchment-lined oven pan. Spread with half the mayonnaise. Top with beef, cheese and onion, if using. Spread remaining mayonnaise over top halves of dinner rolls and place tops over filling. Brush tops with butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds, if using.
- Bake in preheated 350 °F (180 °С) toaster oven for 10 to 12 minutes, or until cheese oozes out slightly and tops are golden.
