Do you love brie?

I love brie.

Good brie, not moldy nasty brie that looks and smells like a communist turd.

The type of brie that makes you shake your head and say, “Wow this tastes like some crazy mixture of heaven and fudge”.

My favorite kind of cheese – is the creamy kind especially when it comes to anything with fruit in it.

A few weeks ago I made this crazy 4 ingredient whiskey sour recipe that literally tastes like you are drinking whiskey soft serve ice cream – so needless to say when I saw this microwave-baked brie recipe, I had to try it out!.

And yes – the name is very misleading because there isn’t any baking involved, just a few minutes in the microwave – still good though!

You can easily make your own fruit topping as long as you have one at home or pick up something from the store.

I just used whatever I had in the fridge, which included bananas, strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries.

It came together easily really, and it takes just 3 minutes to make.

How to make delicious Brie using a Microwave?

Here is exactly what you need to make it taste like you have been eating soft-serve ice cream and it is far so much more convenient.

following are the basic ingredients you will need:

Ingredients.

1 (250 g / 8 oz) whole brie cheese

1/4 cup pomegranate seeds

1/4 cup roughly chopped pecans

1/4 cup maple syrup

Instructions

First, start by cleaning the brie of any excess rind or mold with a spoon.

Put the brie in a microwave-safe dish to allow it to soften, with the plastic wrap still on it – this will make it easier to remove after it’s melted.

Place the brie in a medium-sized microwave-safe bowl with the plastic wrap still on top. Microwave for 2 minutes, and then remove and allow it to drain for 5 minutes..

Allowing it to drain will allow all of the excess water to escape and thicken up the brie. To make sure you don’t overcook it, check it after 2 minutes and then every minute after that.

If you notice a big change in the consistency, then give it 5 more seconds and then remove it..

At this point, your brie is ready to be served! Pat, it with some plastic wrap if desired to remove any excess water, and top with the fruit of your choice.

This can be anything you like – just make sure the brie is well coated in the fruit particles.

I left some of the brie in chunks so you could see what it looked like before you served it..

Cool the dish with a fan in front of it for about 30 minutes before serving.

Incorporate pomegranate seeds, pecans, and maple syrup into your dish for a great homemade combination!.

Place the top on your dish and serve – and enjoy!

Recipe Notes:

For a fun twist, you can use any toppings that you want! Add your favorite fruit (for example, banana and strawberries), or if you want to put some recognizable fruit on it like an orange slice, or if you prefer candy…have it all!

Or if you want to go really crazy and make it a salad, serve this recipe with some chopped fruit and nuts drizzled with maple syrup.

Or even better, serve it with some candied fruit and a drizzle of maple syrup.

I’d recommend using at least 1/2 cup each of fruit, nuts, and syrup for the best coverage of the brie from all directions.

Serving:

You can serve this dish at home and in restaurants.

Serving this dish at home is extremely easy and inexpensive.

You can enjoy this dish with friends and family and obtain a lot of compliments.

Serving this dish in restaurants is also very easy and inexpensive.

You can prepare a lot of this recipe at home and then afford to deliver them to your neighboring restaurants..

If you want to add a little bit of color to your dish, try adding some sliced pears on top of your brie.

You could also serve it with some orange slices on a cheese plate.

This is a really fun and cute way to serve this dish!

If you want to take it a step further and make it even more special, you can add some decorative garnish of fruit, nuts, or even chocolate chips.

This would be an added treat for guests at your dinner party or for yourself if you want something sweet and tasty!

How to Make Brie More Delicious?

You can stack a few slices of brie between some bread and enjoy it as a snack!

To complement the taste of this dish, you can serve it with some bread, crackers, or even fruit!

If you think that this recipe is too delicious to be served cold then try serving it at … temperatures..

Some people may argue about how delicious this dish is because it was served cold on a hot day in Florida.

This all depends on what type of brie you use. If the cheese was hanging over the edge of your dish, then yes it could have been cold.

But if your brie was filled within the dish, then no it’s not cold. So all in all…it’s your choice!.

2. If you want to make this dish more healthy and less salty, you can replace the soy sauce with 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar.

8. Add a piece of unsweetened chocolate on the top and it will look like a beautiful chocolate mousse!

9.As an alternative to the brie, you could use some cream cheese or farmer cheese on top of your dish.

10. You can make brie for sandwiches! You can add some slices of ham or turkey bacon between two slices of brie.

11. If you want variations on this dish then try adding kiwi, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, or even banana slices to complete the taste!

How to Store Leftovers?

Unlike most cheese that needs to be refrigerated, brie needs to be stored at room temperature.

This cheese should never be kept in the refrigerator.

However, you can store it along with other soft cheeses in a covered container at room temperature.

Leftovers can also be frozen for later use. When freezing leftovers, make sure to defrost them in the fridge overnight before reheating them.

However, keep in mind that the texture of this cheese is best served at room temperature.
